“The wound is the place where the light enters you.”
Hello!
I’m Aisha, a CT native who now splits her time between New York City and CT.
After undergoing a surgical procedure to remove a benign brain tumor on May 13th, 2014, I initially developed complete paralysis of my right side, my dominant side; hence, "The Right Side of Perfect".

As I started to recover, I started blogging in the hopes that perhaps something I have learned can help others. Topics include living with a disability (right sided hemiparesis) and adapting to a “new normal” especially work and travel. And, I post whatever else I fancy, I love Halloween so there’s some of that too!
Thanks for visiting and let me know on the contact page if you have any questions or suggestions.
